Nike Air Max 1 x Parra 2018. Pieter Janssen is without a doubt one of the most well known and prolific Dutch designers/artists. You might know Pieter by his nickname: Parra.
Parra has again teamed up with Nike for the first time since 2010 when they made their last collaborative sneaker. The sneaker has a colourful printend colorway. The silhouette that has been use for the collaboration is the populair Nike Air Max 1. It’s not the first time that the Nike Air Max 1 has been used in a collaboration, Nike and Parra used this silhouet many times. The Nike ‘Albert Heijn’ which was released in 2005 and is now worth over $15.000.
The new Nike Air Max 1 x Parra ‘White/Multi color’ has contrasting patterns appearing across the upper’s tonal white base layer. One of the main things that is special about the designs of Parra is that the sneaker is colorfull. The toe section has a white and grey diagonal stripe, with a similar pattern in tonal pink around the heel. Between those panels there is a blue-and-white polka dot pattern. The sneaker contains a lot of details, like the pastel-pink Parra embroidery, a light blue Swoosh, red eyelets, tongue branding and air unit. The sole is pink, red and two tones of blue and makes the design complete.
